BSW Washington, D.C. Internship Program

Important Dates:

Field Education begins: Aug. 23, 2017
Field Education ends: Nov. 21, 2017

Field Education Assignments:

Field assignments are based on: (1) agency availability, (2) generalist practice objectives. Assignments are developed by the Program Coordinator.

Work Schedule:

Five days a week; 40 hours per week. BSW students are required to have 450 hours of field education.

Specific Courses Offered in Washington:

A. SW 490-005: Field Placement in DC: 9 credit hours

B. SW 443-005: Seminar in Generalist Practice

C. Electives: Online courses: 3 credit hours
