THE HILLCREST FOUNDATION GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship supports MSW students who have a strong interest in mental health careers. Students who will be in their concentration year in 2008-2009 are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted to Ms. Mary Sella, room 102 Little Hall, by 4:45 p.m. on September 19, 2008.
SOCIAL WORK SOCIETY-DEAN LUCINDA L. ROFF SCHOLARSHIP: All concentration year students are eligible to apply for the Social Work Society Scholarship that will be awarded in January 2009. The scholarship was created by alumni and friends of the School to encourage and recognize superior academic and professional achievement. Applications must be submitted to Ms. Vickie Whitfield, room 114 Little Hall, by 4:45 p.m. on October 3, 2008.
THE LUCILLE CLARK BENNETT ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is awarded to a concentration year MSW student with a career interest in geriatrics. Students who wish to apply should prepare a statement that illustrates their professional plans. Applications must be submitted to Ms. Mary Sella, room 102 Little Hall, by 4:45 p.m. on September 19, 2008.
THE CHARLES S. PRIGMORE ENDOWED GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding MSW student with a career interest in planning and management. Applications must be submitted to Ms. Mary Sella, room 102 Little Hall, by 4:45 p.m. on September 19, 2008.
THE LORI KAYE HEBERT ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is awarded for the spring semester only to an
MSW student with a career interest in mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. The recipient’s field placement must reflect an
interest in mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. First and second year students are eligible to apply for this scholarship,
which will be awarded in January 2009. Applications must be submitted to Ms. Mary Sella, room 102 Little Hall, by 4:45 p.m. on
September 19, 2008.
