BSW Student Resume Review Session

Corbett will accept BSW resumes for review through Feb. 5, 2017. To submit your resume, please follow these steps:

  1. Follow the resume checklist under the “Resource” section of this webpage.
  2. Save your resume with the naming schema provided in the checklist.
  3. Submit your resume in a Word document to BeckyCorbett@sw.ua.edu by midnight Sunday, Feb. 5.

Corbett will review and return resumes via email by Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017. Students have until Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 request feedback and ask questions.

MSW Student Resume Review Session

BSW and MSW students will obtain the knowledge, tools, and techniques necessary to be a prepared candidate for employment and to succeed as a viable employee. About Your Facilitator:          

Becky Schwartz Corbett, MSW, ACSW, is a nationally recognized consultant, trainer, coach, and speaker in intentional growth, leadership and career development, and Producktivity®. She has more than 25 years of nonprofit executive management experience with mission-driven organizations, membership and trade associations, and colleges and universities.

Corbett was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned both her master’s degree in social work, with a concentration in planning and management, and bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from The University of Alabama. She is president and CEO of BSCorbett Consulting, LLC, a John Maxwell Team Certified coach, speaker, and teacher. She also is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and serves as a leadership consultant and adjunct faculty for the UA School of Social Work.
