Today, the UA School of Social Work was proud to participate in United Way’s Day of Action by serving alongside our incredible community partners at Temporary Emergency Services.
Temporary Emergency Services stands in the gap for so many individuals and families in our community, providing critical support, resources, and hope during times of need. Their work reflects the heart of service and the power of community collaboration.
As a School of Social Work, it is important that we not only teach service and advocacy in the classroom, but also actively walk alongside the organizations doing this life-changing work every day. Opportunities like this remind us that meaningful change happens through partnership, compassion, and collective action.
A special thank you to United Way of West Alabama for organizing Day of Action and for all they do to strengthen and support our community. We are grateful to serve together in building a stronger, more connected West Alabama.
