Charles is a Licensed Social Worker in MI who loves working with individuals, couples, groups, and older adults. Charles specializes in substance abuse treatment and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Charles has experience working with clients in outpatient, hospitals, residential, and correctional institutions. Charles uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Harm Reduction Approach.
Charles Banks Jr. plans to address opioid overdose and racial disparities in substance abuse treatment within the African American community.
