Background and professional experience:
Haley Heckman Beech received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Samford University in 2009 and her MSW from The University of Alabama School of Social Work in 2013. After graduating, Haley moved to Baltimore, Maryland and spent several years practicing international social work as a healthcare case worker with refugee populations and handling cross border child welfare cases. Haley also completed a Certificate in Global Health Studies from The University of Alabama, Birmingham School of Public Health. She currently lives in Birmingham with her husband, two young children, and dog Sebastian. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker.
