Background and professional experience
Shannon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. She received her undergraduate dual degree in Social Work and Psychology in 2008 from Warner University, and her MSW in 2009 from The University of South Florida. Shannon has been supporting youth in the public education sector as a school social worker for 7 years until she became a Senior Manager for the School Social Work Department which she supervises over 20 employees. She has also served as an adjunct instructor for The University of Central Florida’s MSW program, Warner University’s BSW program, Saint Leo University’s MSW program, Florida Southern College’s Social Sciences program, and is a qualified supervisor for licensed clinical social work interns. Shannon has experience conducting individual and group counseling, addressing various mental health and behavioral health needs in children of various ages, and crisis intervention and threat management in schools.
