Background and professional experience

Stephanie Jaime is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with a background in mental health, school social work, individual and group psychotherapy and case management. Currently, she is a medical social worker specializing in working with patients on dialysis who have acute and chronic kidney failure. Stephanie enjoys advocacy work and has been able to lobby at both the state and national level. She participated in the University of Alabama School of Social Work’s 2020 Washington, D.C. Fly-In and is honored to have been selected again to participate in the upcoming 2021 D.C. Fly-In. Stephanie has worked with social work interns from local universities and is looking forward to the transition into the classroom and will be an adjunct faculty member for the University of Alabama. Stephanie’s research interest include working with bereaved adolescents in a group or camp setting.
