Background and professional experience

Josh is an experienced clinical social worker. He has worked in group private practice ,hospital, non-profit, mental health clinic, and university mental health settings. He also has digital social work experience as a lead social work social media manager (Melanated Social Work) and as a mental health social media consultant (Magnoloa Mental Health). He has worked in Black and Brown communities in New York City and Boston leading groups, guest lecturing, facilitating, training, and guest writing. He is passionate about how yoga, mindfulness, and meditation can be used to support African American men. He is ¼ of Melanated Social Work and is a co-host on the Melanated Social Work podcast.

Josh plans to address how yoga, mindfulness, and meditation can be used to support southern African American men.
