Valerie Trull began working for The University of Alabama in 2010. Since that time she has completed her bachelor’s degree in human environmental sciences and master’s degree in criminal justice. Her master’s thesis was titled “Analyzing the Attitudes of Law Students Towards Sex Offenders”. She has participated in a variety of research projects, including projects involving the Criminal History Assessment Metrics Program (CHAMP), sex offender registrants and hotels in Alabama. She has worked with the Juvenile Justice Working Group since 2014, and helped organize the Tuscaloosa REACTS conference for the past two years.
