Background and professional experience:

Zainab Suntai is a 2018-2022 fellow in the Zelda Foster Fellowship in Palliative and End of Life Care at NYU. She is also the current journal assistant for the Journal of Social Work in End of life and Palliative Care. Her research areas include older adults, end of life care, grief and loss, cognitive impairment, caregiving and traumatic brain injury. She currently works with the Alabama Head Injury foundation, providing programming for caregivers of TBI survivors including a weekly support group and caregiver advocacy trainings. Her research spans both qualitative and quantitative methods, with a focus on improving quality of life across multiple populations and social issues.”
