Campus Housing
To help offset the costs of traveling and attending the orientation, the School of Social Work will be providing campus housing at no cost to students for the duration of the event. See specific dates below. For those who are traveling longer distances, an additional night of housing will be available with check-in beginning that evening. To reserve your campus housing, please indicate this at the time of registering to attend orientation.
Housing check in information will be provided directly to students who have registered. Specific information regarding the dorm style and included amenities will be provided once available. However, all students who reserve campus housing should anticipate providing their own linens (sheets/blanket/pillow), towels, and toiletries.
Students are expected to adhere to University housing policies, which includes responsibility for any damages that are incurred. More information about damage charges can be found here.
Advanced Standing (Summer) Dates
The School of Social Work will be providing campus housing at no cost to students with check-in on Thursday, May 14, and check-out on Saturday, May 16.
Traditional Program (Fall) Dates
The School of Social Work will be providing campus housing at no cost to students with check-in on Thursday, July 9, and check-out on Saturday, July 11.
Off Campus Accommodations
If you would prefer to stay off campus during orientation, there are many lodging options available. Please ensure that you are able make your own arrangements to travel to and from campus for orientation activities, as any off-campus transportation will not be provided by the School of Social Work.
The closest hotel to the Bryant Conference Center is Hotel Capstone. There is a block booking option available for the event. Students can call Hotel Capstone directly at 205-752-3200 or click the following links for reservations.
