Meet Priyanka Bhattacharjee, a PhD student in Social Work who is expected to graduate in 2028!

Priyanka recently celebrated a significant academic achievement with the publication of her article, “Stigma-Driven Trauma and Coping Strategies of Women Experiencing Infertility in Bangladesh: A Qualitative Exploration,” in Sexuality & Culture (2026).

Her research examines the experiences of women facing infertility-related stigma in Bangladesh, highlighting the trauma they encounter and the coping strategies they use to navigate these challenges. Through her scholarship, Priyanka is contributing valuable insights that help advance understanding of social, cultural, and mental health issues affecting women around the world.
