Bio

Pamela L. Granger, LMSW-S is a social worker serving within the library system, where she works to connect individuals and families with community resources, support services, and educational opportunities that promote overall well-being. She is also an Adjunct Instructor, Faculty Liaison, and Field Instructor for the University of Alabama School of Social Work. Pamela earned her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Alabama, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving induction into the Phi Alpha Honor Society as well as the Master’s Scholar Award.

Pamela has over 15 years of experience in both nonprofit and for-profit settings, serving in roles such as advocate, case manager, educator, broker, and facilitator. Her professional background includes experience in child welfare, counseling, medical social work, and community engagement. In her current role within the library system, Pamela is passionate about helping underserved and vulnerable populations access resources, navigate barriers, and strengthen connections within the community.

Pamela believes that knowledge is power and is committed to empowering individuals through education, advocacy, and support. Her passion for teaching and service continues to guide her work as she helps develop future social workers while fostering healing, growth, and community empowerment.
