What is Alabama Caregiver Connect?

Alabama Caregiver Connect was created by researchers, providers, and caregivers, to help Alabama caregivers get information they need about dementia and caregiving. Through our work, caregivers across the state tell us:

  • They need more support.
  • They need information about dementia and caregiving.
  • They want to know what services and supports are available and how to access them.
  • Using the internet to find what they need is overwhelming – they want a resource that is more focused on their needs.

In many cases, information and support are available, but caregivers don’t know about it. The goal of Caregiver Connect is to provide a hub where caregivers can get information that they tell us they need.
