Join us for a special session on Ketamine-Assisted Therapy with Veterans, led by Dr. Jason Pearce, DSW, LCSW, a retired U.S. Army Social Work Officer and expert in trauma-informed care.
Dr. Pearce will explore how ketamine-assisted psychotherapy can support veterans with trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders; discuss its pharmacology and clinical applications; and highlight the important role social workers play in interdisciplinary care. Attendees will leave understanding how this innovative therapy aligns with Social Work Grand Challenges and how to apply it in practice.

Dr. Jason Pearce, DSW, LCSW
Dr. Jason Pearce, DSW, LCSW, is a retired Army Social Work Officer and visiting instructor at the University of Southern Mississippi. Drawing on his advanced clinical training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, he brings deep experience in trauma-informed care and veteran mental health. In addition to his teaching and research on clinical education and licensure access, Dr. Pearce maintains a private practice specializing in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ care, and is passionate about exploring innovative approaches such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to promote healing and resilience.
