The School of Social Work’s two alumni organizations serve in an advisory role and assist with long-range planning for the school.

The Board works to build positive relationships between leaders in the community and the faculty, staff, and students in our school.
Social Work Society Board
An affiliate organization of the Capstone Foundation, the Society supports the school’s goals, programs, and activities.

Foster Earns First Place at 3MT Competition
TUSCALOOSA – Carmen Foster, 2nd-Year Doctor of Social Work student, competed in the finals of the University of Alabama 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition where she won first prize on November 15.
