Dr. David L. Albright, Hill Crest Foundation Endowed Chair in Mental Health and professor of social work, has received the 2017-18 Outstanding Commitment to Advising Award from The University of Alabama Academic Advisors Association (UA-AAA) .
The Outstanding Commitment to Advising Award recognizes the importance of academic advising at The University of Alabama by celebrating outstanding academic advisors. Dr. Albright was nominated for the award by students in the School of Social Work. The association’s executive board and nomination committee announced him as winner of the award March 8.
Dr. Albright will be honored at the association’s awards luncheon at 12 p.m. Monday, April 2 at The University Club, Blue Room.
