Social Work Month 2024

Throughout March, the School of Social Work celebrates the profound impact of social workers and the invaluable contributions they make to our communities. As champions of social justice, advocates for marginalized populations, and catalysts for positive change, social workers embody the essence of compassion, empathy, and resilience. Join us in honoring their dedication and commitment as we host a series of engaging events and activities to highlight their tireless efforts and inspire meaningful dialogue. Together, let’s celebrate the remarkable work of social workers and continue our collective journey toward a more just and equitable society.

We embrace the theme for Social Work Month provided by NASW, “Empowering Social Workers!” Through our commitment to empowering social workers, we strive to foster a supportive environment where their expertise, compassion, and dedication can thrive. Together, we honor the life-affirming work of social workers and recognize their pivotal role in creating positive change and promoting social justice.
