Self-Care

Taking Care of You

Self-care is an essential skill in the field of social work. It is the act of engaging in activities and practices on a regular basis to reduce stress and maintain short and long-term health and well-being. This section provides multiple assessments designed to increase your awareness around self-care, and the importance it will play in your role as a social worker. The assessments are recommended, but voluntary. New self-care documents will be added periodically, and updates will be posted as needed.
